Our Openair-Plasma® and low-pressure plasma technologies help customers improve processes such as bonding, coating, printing, sealing and painting across industries including automotive, electronics, medical technology, packaging and renewable energy.

For our Benelux organization in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, we are looking for an Application & Field Service Engineer (m/f/d) to strengthen our technical team.

Your role:
As an Application & Field Service Engineer, you will work directly with customers to develop, test and implement plasma solutions for industrial applications.

This role combines application engineering, commissioning, technical service and customer support. You will work on a wide variety of projects, from laboratory trials and process optimization to installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of plasma systems at customer sites.
You will collaborate closely with customers, colleagues across Europe and our international technical network.

• Conduct application trials and evaluate plasma treatment processes
• Define test methods, process parameters and suitable plasma configurations with customers
• Install and commission plasma systems at customer sites
• Perform troubleshooting, maintenance and repair activities
• Support customers with process optimization and system integration
• Provide technical support remotely and on-site
• Train operators, engineers and maintenance personnel
• Prepare technical reports, service documentation and quotations
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Engineering, Service and R&D teams
• Support customers in finding practical solutions for their production processes

Most customer visits will be within the Benelux region, with occasional travel within Europe.

• Technical education or experience in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, Process Engineering or a related field
• Strong interest in industrial technology and equipment
• Hands-on mentality and practical problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently at customer sites
• Customer-oriented and professional approach
• Ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics
• Strong communication skills
• Good English language skills
• Knowledge of Dutch, German or French is a plus
• Experience with industrial automation, PLC systems, electrical systems, pneumatics or surface treatment technologies is advantageous
